The committee have unanimously agreed to revive this tradition and any service personnel on leave from active [...]]]> When looking back at the history of the Derwent Angling Association, we noticed that the Association had offered free day tickets during the first and second world wars for service men and women on leave from active service.

The committee have unanimously agreed to revive this tradition and any service personnel on leave from active service or recovering from wounds received who wish to take up this offer need only contact us and we’ll let them know how to obtain their ticket.

We feel this is the very least we can do to show our support for the young men and women who put their lives on the line on our behalf.
