Due to the low number of grayling now in the river following the pollution incident in 2009,we will not be selling day tickets over the winter. Club members are however still entitled to fish for grayling,although they should be sure to handle any fish caught gently and to release them as quickly as [...] The Sneep is the area above Allensford Bridge where the Derwent twists and turns its way through a couple of miles of narrow gorges and broken pocket water. This will allow wild trout and grayling to move more freely between the upper and lower Derwent.
