	A full set of rules is supplied with each membership, the basic rules are as follows -
The period for which it is legal to fish for Trout is from 22nd. March to 30th. September inclusive. Only ONE ROD to be used at any one time. NO SPINNING AT ANY TIME A spinning reel may NOT BE USED at ANY TIME or for ANY PURPOSE Ground baiting and maggot fishing strictly prohibited. Hours of fishing are 6a.m. to one hour after sunset. All fish measuring less than eight inches from nose to cleft of tail must be returned to the water immediately Members must ADHERE to the Northumbrian River Authority Byelaws. GRAYLING Fishing from 16th. June to 30th. September. Extended until 31st. December from Derwent Reservoir road bridge to Shotley Bridge with FLY ONLY. GRAYLING FISHING ON DAA LAND ONLY. From 1st. January until 31st. January from Shotley Bridge weir upstream to DAA boundary fence. FLY ONLY, barbless hooks - all fish to be returned.
